The theme is ‘Balancing risk: Championing sustainable growth’, and the agenda will focus on the key part risk plays in any treasurer’s day to day role. In order to balance risks and manage uncertainty while remaining profitable, treasurers have always kept a close eye on local, regional and global economic and political events, however increasingly new disruptors are appearing.
ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) is now well and truly in the mainstream and will have huge ramifications for organisations large and small. Not to be confused with solely green issues, ESG encompasses a wide range of areas including people, technology, regulation, supply-chain procurement and communities. Treasurers will need to extend their existing risk frameworks to incorporate key ESG concerns and contribute to the strategic corporate direction in this area.
The conference will focus on how treasurers can balance risks, now and in the future, while ensuring business growth and sustainability.
As the focal point of the corporate treasury calendar, the ACT Annual Conference brings together over 1,000 treasury and finance professionals, 100+ expert speakers and 80+ solution providers, from across industries and geographies, to learn, network and inspire each other to further the treasury profession.
