Made it happen for…
Ian has a reputation for making things happen, having led the bid for Celtic Manor and Wales to stage the 2014 NATO Summit and was named ‘Hotelier of the Year 2015’ at the European Hospitality Awards.

ICC Wales has involved years of crucial planning and working closely with the Welsh Government to bring to fruition this world-class facility, and it’s extremely satisfying to have led an instrumental role in the process.

Leading the way
With over 25 years’ experience in the hotel and hospitality industry, I have a thorough understanding of business tourism. I’m privileged to sit on the Wales Tourism Advisory Board, which is responsible for driving business tourism for the country. ICC Wales is a game-changer that will see exciting times ahead for the whole country.

Future features
ICC Wales will be such an asset to Wales, placing the country as a destination for business tourism. Our team is creating a convention centre that has the best of everything and the capacity to hold events on an extraordinary scale. We are incredibly excited about increasing market share for Wales and the South West.

Dream job
I’m thrilled about the prospect of the positive impact ICC Wales will bring and the positive economic contribution it will have to the region.
